1. What FlipSolar does
FlipSolar is a free quote-matching and information service. We connect businesses that submit a quote request with up to three independent, third-party solar installers (“Installer Partners”). FlipSolar is not a solar installer, contractor, financing provider or tax advisor. We do not guarantee any Installer Partner’s pricing, quality, licensing, insurance or availability.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 and have authority to request quotes for the business you represent.
3. Quote requests
When you submit the quote form you agree to provide accurate information, and you consent to FlipSolar sharing your request with up to three Installer Partners and to being contacted by FlipSolar and those installers by email or phone about your request, as described in our Privacy Policy. Submitting a request does not obligate you to buy anything. There is no charge to use the Service.
4. No guarantees; estimates are illustrative
We do not guarantee that you will receive any particular number of quotes, or any quotes at all. Savings, payback, cost and incentive figures on the Site, including the calculator, are general illustrative estimates — not a quote, offer or guarantee for your property. Actual results depend on your electricity usage and rates, roof, system size and cost, financing, tax situation, and the incentives available when you install. You are responsible for independently verifying any installer’s licensing, insurance, certifications and references before signing anything.
5. Your dealings with installers
Any quote, contract or warranty is solely between you and the Installer Partner. FlipSolar is not a party to it and is not responsible for installation quality, timeliness, pricing, disputes or warranty claims.
6. Tax and incentive information
Information about the federal Investment Tax Credit, depreciation, state incentives and utility programs is general and informational only. It is not tax, legal or financial advice. Incentive rules, deadlines and eligibility change and depend on your circumstances; consult a qualified tax professional before relying on them.
7. Affiliate links
As an Amazon Associate, FlipSolar earns from qualifying purchases. Some links on the Site are affiliate links, and we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Prices, availability and product details are controlled by the retailer and may change.
8. Intellectual property
